Sundarijal Chisapani hike, which combines the best of nature with some typical local life, beautiful Himalayan views, enchanting sunsets, and ethereal sunrise from Chisapani and Nagarkot, makes for a great holiday in one to three days. Since it is a day hike, the journey begins with a short drive to Sundarijal, a famous hangout and popular picnic place on Kathmandu's northwestern outskirts. Within the Shivapuri National Park, this is a region of pleasant shade, big trees, gorgeous streams, and a tranquil ambiance - all in stark contrast to the city's bustle and crowd.

Chisapani, a little hill station on Kathmandu's outskirts, offers breathtaking vistas of lush green hills, deep valleys, and snow-capped mountain peaks. In Nepali, Chisapani means "cold water." It is the gateway to the Langtang-Gosainkunda trekking zone and is located in the Shivapuri National Park. Sundarijal, a small village southeast of Kathmandu with multiple waterfalls, is the starting point for the climb to Chisapani. Chisapani is a mixed settlement of Brahmins, Gurungs, and Sherpas, with a few settlements along the road. The town also has a stunning view of a huge chunk of the Himalayan mountain range. In the evening, it gives off an enchanting shine.

Itinerary

We drive to Sundarijal after eating breakfast early in the morning. On public holidays, it is a popular picnic spot for valley residents. As soon as we arrive, we are greeted by lush flora, water sources, and a peaceful setting. Our hike to Chisapani begins from here. We arrive in Chisapani after walking through a few communities and a lot of woodland with a variety of birds and chances of seeing animals. Having a packed lunch on the road adds to the fun. The hike will take you about five hours in total. Chisapani is a Sherpa community with spectacular mountain views. Relax and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. After spending some time we will then drive back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
