Annapurna Cable Car
The first cable car in Pokhara has recently completed its final stages of construction. The Annapurna Cable Car Private Limited Enterprise started the cable car project in 2010 with the support of Nippon Cable Corporation, a Japanese company. The Annapurna Cable Car connects Sedi-18, Lakeside, and Sarangkot, a distance of around 2.4 kilometers. The construction project is expected to be done 90 percent of the time and will open to the public next year. The corporation has sustained significant losses as a result of building delays caused by the Covid-19 outbreak. As a result, the project's cost has increased to almost NPR 2 billion.
Pokhara, being the major tourist destination, has many more to offer. The natural beauty, lakes, dense forest, mesmerizing view of mountains and hills, and other exciting adventurous activities have made Pokhara the most popular among people of both Nepalese and foreigners. People visit Pokhara for different reasons, to perform adventurous activities, spend time with friends and families, for relaxation, and so on. And most importantly, Pokhara is more famous for lakeside, Fewa lake, Sarangkot for Sunrise, Paragliding, Zip flyer, and so on. But the place has added another attraction to tourism which is Cable Car which has been named Annapurna Cable Car. The Annapurna Cable Car runs to Sarangkot hill from Sedi-18, Lakeside, and takes around 8 to 9 minutes to reach the top whereas the same destination takes around 30 to 45 minutes to reach by drive.
To the north, the mesmerizing view of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mt. Dhaulagiri, and Mt. Manaslu can be seen from the summit. On the other hand, we may enjoy a spectacular view of Phewa Lake, the World Peace Pagoda, the Lord Shiva Statue, and the Pokhara International Airport from the west. The Annapurna Cable Car is expected to transport approximately 500 people every hour. There are around 18 cable cars, each capable of transporting eight persons. The fare of cable cars varies according to the citizens of different countries, but students and senior citizens will receive a discount of up to 25%.

Itinerary
Early in the morning, before the sunrise, you will leave for Sarangkot to experience the beautiful sunrise via the only cable car of Pokhara which is the Annapurna Cable Car. The drive will be about 8 to 9 minutes in a cable car which starts from Lakeside, Pokhara. You will see the beautiful Pokhara filled with lights while heading towards Sarangkot. You will then watch the beautiful Sunrise, Pokhara city, stunning panoramic view of mountains, Phewa lake, and so on. Then you will head back to your hotel and have a free time.
