Panchase Trek

Panchase is also known as the hidden paradise. Punchase, which means Panch: Five Asan: the seat, is the meeting place of the five peaks covered with a lush green forest of diverse flora and fauna. Panchasse lies in the west of Pokhara city, about a day's hike away at an altitude of 2517m, from sea level. There are old, stone-stepped pilgrimage approaches upon which one can climb past the grassland and paddy field to the vastness of Panchase, from where the magnificent view of Annapurna massif is visible so close as if one could reach out and touch them. Therefore, trekking around Panchase is a delightful journey indeed.

Panchase Trek is one of the shortest treks around Pokhara away from the actual Annapurna trail but it is to rural- cultural off the beaten trek that offers an ideal way to discover natural beauty around Pokhara for those visitors on the visit, without missing an incredible view of Annapurna Himalayan range, Dhaulagiri Himal, Manaslu Himal, Ganesh Himal, and Machhapuchhre or Himal and experience the village life. Best time to go for a Panchase trek

Treks in Nepal are usually done during the spring and autumn season, but the trek to Panchase is favorable during the wintertime of the year as it does not ascend too high. And the mountain views during December and January can be especially good around Pokhara

Itinerary

We'll arrive in Kathmandu and conduct some sightseeing, as well as some shopping if you need anything for the trip.

We will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, then to Kande, where we will begin our hike to Bhadaure, which will take approximately two to two and a half hours.

We will get up early today and travel for a short hike to Bhanjyang for sunrise, and then begin our today's trek to Ghatichhina, which will take 4 to 5 hours of walking to reach, and then drive back to Hallan Chowk, Lakeside, Pokhara.

After having our breakfast we will catch a bus and drive back to Kathmandu.

After having breakfast we will transfer you to International Airport for final departure

Trek to Panchase is one of the shortest treks of Nepal, however, it still can be extended with the availability of your time.

No special permit or TIMS card is required to go for a trek to Panchase. And according to the information office, if you go to Kande then the permit is needed as it is located inside the national park, otherwise, nobody checks for a permit to go up to Australian Base Camp.

Any time of the year is favourable to go for a Panchase trek but for a better experience, the Autumn and Spring seasons are more appropriate to travel.

The Panchase trek is not so difficult and is good for those who do not have much more experience in trekking.

Yes, there is the availability of wifi during Panchase Trek

You may choose according to your convenience, you may either bank transfer, credit card, western union or choose other options.

There are no banks or atm or money exchange to the higher points of the trek. If you want to carry extra cash for extra expenses then you can either withdraw or change from Kathmandu or Pokhara.
