TRIP OVERVIEW

Mardi Himal trek is very rich in its natural beauty, flora, and fauna and offers breathtaking views over the Himalayas and jaw-dropping landscape scenes. Beneath the much more prominent Machhapuchhre in the Annapurna range in Nepal, there lies a beautiful Mardi Himal, which is separated by 5200 meters (17060ft). It was first submitted in 1961 by Basil Goodfellow. The Mardi Himal was officially opened for trekking in 2012. It is a short, newly opened route that is of moderate type and hidden treasure in the Annapurna region which is why it has become one of the most popular trekking destinations.

It can be the perfect trek for those who don’t like walking much but at the same time are willing to experience the beauty of nature in a very peaceful environment.

Major attractions of Mardi Himal Trek

  • Hiking through the beautiful trail of Annapurna foothills and dense forest

  • Jaw-dropping view of mountain ranges like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machhapuchhre

  •  Forest filled with Rhododendrons

Best time to go for a Mardi Himal Trek

The most favorable time to go for a Mardi Himal Trek is from March to May or October and November. During the mid-summer, you might face heavy rainfall and slippery routes whereas, during winter, there is a high chance of facing snowfall due to which you might not be able to reach your destination due to the blockage of the trail.
