Nepal is a destination of exploration and unique experience, with rich ancient civilizations set against some of the world's most stunning scenery. Nepal is an excellent location for broad-minded people who desire an authentic and enthralling experience. Many distinct tribes' traditions and well-known hospitality are important elements of what makes Nepal truly remarkable. The people of Nepal are always friendly, from isolated mountain villages to medieval hill towns and the old city of the Kathmandu Valley. People come to taste the powerful and distinct flavors of Nepalese food, prepared with care and a depth of flavor, or join in on one of the many festivals held throughout the year. No other country in the world has as many festivals as Nepal, which has more festivals than days of the year.
For a country like Nepal, tourism has been one of the most important sources of revenue. Because of its snow-capped mountains, vast flora and fauna, interesting trekking routes, and rich cultural and religious variety, Nepal has great potential to become a major tourism destination. Your journey includes a visit to a famous Hindu temple, the Manakamana cable car, which is the shrine of Goddess Bhagwati, where people come with the conviction that if they make their wishes from the heart, they would come true. The journey then continues to Pokhara, commonly known as the City of Lakes, from where you will travel to Jomsom to visit Muktinath Temple, a Vishnu Temple and one of the most popular Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage locations. A visit to Muktinath also provides a spectacular view of the Annapurna peaks and the picturesque lakes that surround it.
Thousands of devotees visit this Hindu pilgrimage destination in the hopes of gaining moksha (freedom) from the rebirth cycle. Mukti-Nirvana, or freedom from the cycle of birth and rebirth, is the goal of every Hindu. Muktichhettra is one of the four sacred Dhams, and it is known to Hindus as Muktichhettra. This region is popular with adventure seekers as well as Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. The Annapurna Circuit is a world-famous trekking trail. From Muktinath, you can see the Dhaulagiri range, as well as many other beautiful mountains. There are 108 taps in Muktinath which is according to Hindu Astrology, the 108 taps are the result of 12 Zodiacs and 9 Planets, where people would shower in freezing tap water that flows straight from Kali Gandaki River and take a dip in two ponds in the belief of getting rid of their sins and to keep us healthy and prosperous.
