TRIP OVERVIEW

The Kalinchok Bhagwati Temple is a Hindu temple in Nepal's Dolkha District's Kalinchok Rural Municipality. It is located at an elevation of 3,842 meters above sea level in Kalinchok Village. It is a part of the Gaurishankar Conservation Area, from which two rivers, the Sun Kosi and the Tamakoshi, flow. The pilgrimage to the shrine is well-known. It used to be the only means to get to the temple, but to accommodate the expanding number of visitors, a cable car was recently constructed. Since it is a holy place, every year thousands of both domestic and international tourists visit Kalinchowk Bhagwati, and also it is famous for panoramic mountain views and snow activities. The majority of visitors come during the winter season, and it is the greatest local location to enjoy snowfall from Kathmandu. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, an incarnation of Goddess Durga, and it is believed that if you make a wish with her and give her something in return as "Vakal," the goddess would grant your wish.

In Kalinchowk rural municipality in Dolakha district Nepal, the third cable car service in the country connects the Kalinchowk Bhagwati temple at the top to the Kuri village at the bottom. This cable car service started running in November of 2018. The Kalinchowk trip has been made easier for thousands of devotees visiting the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple due to the operation of the Kalinchowk cable car. The cable car services include four gondolas, each with a carrying capacity of ten people. The table shows the cost of the Kalinchowk cable car, its carrying capacity, travel time, and other information. The cost of the Kalinchowk cable car is $500 per person.
